Zinchenko getting a run out for Man City tonight at Arsenal in the League Cup
Supposedly one we are looking at as a left wing back / left back though think they are looking at SELLING rather than loaning.

They want to keep Moyes. If we slip down the table a bit they’ll panic and give him some.

Do they still sell wank mags?

Not much use for goose this year and I'm fucked if I'm getting any dried grasshoppers from the Far East with what's going on!

They'll have to just have it out on here instead...... :-)

“Seriously, they can't move us forward, why don't they just fuck off”

Probably something to do with needing to find someone to sell the club to.

Who normally does the transfer threads? Is it Charley?

Re: No need for a Jan Transfer Thread - GSB more skint than ever
So are we having a January transfer thread or is this it? No disrespect Alf, but this is a bit of a damp squib of a thread. Personally I would be surprised if we don't do at least a little bit of business, depending of course on whether anyone is interested in any of our fringe or underperforming players. I don't mind starting one if nobody else wants to.

Re: No need for a Jan Transfer Thread - GSB more skint than ever
40 million loss last year and 50 million loss this year. Well I guess all those player sales from last 3 windows worth nothing? And seems ticket sales equate to 40 or 50 million each season. The LS must hold 200000?

Our ticket prices are discounted, to ensure the bowl is full, Match day income, was £27 million, in the last set of accounts.

As for player sales we are still paying out bundles in previous player purchases. We owed £89 million at May 2019 (just over half due in this season). Which is before we purchased Haller for £45 million

I'm sure they are looking at moving Reid and Yarmolenko out of the door on the wages they are on.

Alf,
£40 x 60,000 x19 = £45,600,000

Re: No need for a Jan Transfer Thread - GSB more skint than ever
They are relatively protected from spending in January anyway as it’s rare for clubs to sell their better players mid season for a fair price/terms.

Moyes has basically said that in his latest interview.

Re: No need for a Jan Transfer Thread - GSB more skint than ever
That can’t be right!

Grasshoppers sources said there’s loads of money to spend.

Re: No need for a Jan Transfer Thread - GSB more skint than ever
The supposed 30 mil or whatever it was Moyes was meant to have is just going to be forgotten about no doubt. They pulled the same trick last Jan too. Fucking scumbags.

Re: No need for a Jan Transfer Thread - GSB more skint than ever
Are we the only team affected then, and what about the money we didn't spend in the summer?

Always excuses, and sadly GSB haven't gone as was predicted on here a few months ago.

Re: No need for a Jan Transfer Thread - GSB more skint than ever
Cheer up Alf - there's plenty of talk of various possible incomings and outgoings. Though I would admit, a lot of that is on sites that need to keep churning out articles to generate ad revenue. But I would have thought Moyes will at least be told that he can spend the money from any sales.
